Lewis & Clark welcomed back alumni Judge Ulanda Watkins ’96 (Clackamas County), Judge Ray Crutchley ’99 (Deschutes County), and Judge Patricia McGuire ’95 (Multnomah County) for the school’s annual lecture in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Judge Watkins and Judge McGuire were the third and fourth, respectively, African American women appointed to a judgeship in Oregon. Judge Crutchley was the first African American appointed to a judgeship east of the Cascades.
